Within the framework of the EROVMUS project, mainly two topics will be addressed:

  1. Research into the basis for the scientific substantiation of the organization of realistic tests and scenarios for UXO detection.
  2. Scientific substantiation of test campaigns in the port of Oostende.

The execution of ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) operations poses several challenges, both at a technical and operational level, especially when these operations take place in dynamic conditions. To support planned tests, a literature review will be conducted on historical UXO detection tests and the test objects used to serve as a basis for the design of scientifically substantiated tests.
