Port Oostende has 5 roll-on roll-off bridges. Trucks and SPMTs (vehicles that are used to move heavy loads) can drive from the ship onto the quay. The roro bridges connect directly to the international road network (E40 - A10).

Every year Port Oostende welcomes about ten cruises from the higher market segment. They moor at the special quay that gives direct access to the city centre.

Roll-on roll-off up to 650 tonnes

The roll-on roll-off bridge of the REBO heavy weight terminal has a loading capacity of 650 tonnes. Ideal to unload heavy loads in a safe way.

In addition, a double deck and a single deck bridge are ready for use.

Cruises from the higher market segment

Cruises with a maximum length of 200 metres can enter the Port of Oostende. These smaller cruises are usually luxuriously furnished and equipped with a lot of innovative shipping techniques. The number of passengers visiting Oostende per cruise increases to a few thousands.
