World Day for Safety and Health at Work

On Monday, April 28, 2025, Port Oostende organized its fifth safety event as part of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

This year, the central theme was "Rescue at Sea." During an interactive afternoon at RelyOn (Belgium), our employees had the opportunity to sharpen their skills through three hands-on sessions: pool exercises, rescue techniques at the maritime site, and a refresher course on first aid and the use of an AED.

With these initiatives, we continue to invest in a safe working environment and enhance the alertness of everyone active on and around the water every day. Safety, health, and the environment remain top priorities for Port Oostende each and every day.
