SeaMade is the second offshore wind farm to be realised by Otary. The SeaMade wind farm consists of two concession zones, Seastar and Mermaid, and will be fully operational by the end of 2020. SeaMade will produce enough sustainable energy to power 485,000 Belgian homes on an annual basis.

SeaMade is the second offshore wind farm to be realised by Otary. The SeaMade wind farm consists of two concession zones, Seastar and Mermaid, and will be fully operational by the end of 2020. SeaMade will produce enough sustainable energy to power 485,000 Belgian homes on an annual basis.
The SeaMade wind farm is a combination of the Seastar and Mermaid projects. To achieve the required economies of scale, both projects were combined and partners Engie and Eneco came on board. The financing for the SeaMade wind project was completed in a record time of ten weeks. Otary and its partners take care of the development, financing and construction of the SeaMade wind project from start to finish and will manage the wind farm as from 2020.
