Two Gravity Based Foundations for a wind farm in the Baltic Sea are constructed on a barge based along the REBO quay in Port Oostende.
Project Description
Year 2017. Joint Venture Iemants – Jan De Nul Group awarded the EPCI contract for 2 Gravity Based Foundations (GBF) for Kriegers Flak Offshore Wind Farm, a 600 MW offshore wind farm in the Danish Baltic Sea. The two foundations for the transformer stations are constructed on a barge based along the REBO quay in Port Oostende (Belgium) and will be towed to the Baltic Sea by the end of 2017.
