Single Window For Inland Navigation vlot gestart

Thank you to everyone who reports digitally

The Single Window for Inland Navigation was launched on 4 January 2021. Since then, the digital reports from inland shipping operators have been shared through this smart communication platform with all waterway and port authorities on the shipping route. The use of the Single Window for Inland Navigation has been running very smoothly so far. Thank you to everyone who reports digitally!

Operators who report digitally, please note:

  • Submit yourreport well in advance of your journey, to ensure that the port and waterway authorities on your shipping route receive the information on time.
  • Make sure you add waypoints to show which route you are travelling, so that the correct authorities receive your report.
  • Due to local regulations, in some places you still have to identify yourself through VHF and confirm the details you have already reported. We are, however, working hard to simplify or even eliminate those reports.

With the Single Window for Inland Navigation, De Vlaamse Waterweg nv, Port of Antwerp, Port of Oostende, Port of Zeebrugge, North Sea Port, agentschap voor Maritieme Dienstverlening en Kust and Gemeenschappelijk Nautisch Beheer, ensure a greater level of safety and simplification of the administration involved in inland navigation.
