KICK OFF MEETING ISHY, IMPLEMENTATION OF SHIP HYBRIDISATION

10.30 – 11.00 hrs.: Welcome, Registration, Coffee/tea
11.00 – 11.10 hrs.: Opening by Adriaan Schuller, director of the Zilvermeeuw
11.10 – 11.25 hrs.: Welcome by Haven Oostende (Wim Stubbe), lead partner of the ISHY project:
                                     short presentation of the ISHY project: challenges
11.25-11.45 hrs.: Academic keynote speaker
11.45-12.05 hrs: Vessel company - operator keynote speaker
12.05-12.25 hrs.: Shipping industry keynote speaker  

12.25 – 13.00 hrs.: QUESTIONS & ANSWERS & DISCUSSIONS

13.00 – 14.00 hrs.: Lunch (walking, buffet) 
                                        including ‘business to business’ networking 
14.00 – 15.45 hrs.: 2X2 Work Session simultaneously (2 x 45minutes and 15 minutes break);
                                        guests can register for 2 Work sessions.

Work-sessions are focusing on the 4 topics, addressed during the morning:

1.     Scientific (generic) development and innovation on H2-fuel cell technologies
         for the shipping industry 
(chairman: Rudy Negenborn   - Delft  University of Technology, supported by Jan Bot – Zepp Solutions)

2.     Availability and pricing of H2 now and in the near future (2025) 

3.     Role of authorities and governments to promote and facilitate the use of H2
         in the shipping industry 
(Chaired by Wim Stubbe – Haven Oostende, supported by Erwin Samelink – Impuls Zeeland)

4.     Technical challenges for vessel owners and operators to retrofit their fleet
(Chaired by  Jan de Braal/Nico Bolleman – YES Zeeland)

       Topics:  16.00 – 16.45 hrs.: Feedback workshops + Panel discussion with initiators and
                                                                 workshop leaders, comments and discussion lead
                                                                 by the chairman of the day
                         16.45 – 17.00 hrs.: Conclusions and closing of the conference by 
                         17.00 – 18.00 hrs.: Reception
