MOSOLF Group announces strategic expansion to Port Oostende

The MOSOLF Group, one of Europe’s leading providers of logistics and technical services for the automotive industry, is expanding its operations to Port Oostende. This strategic move marks an important milestone in the port’s further development as a multimodal logistics hub. The expansion strengthens both MOSOLF’s European network and Port Oostende’s ambitions to attract high-value industrial and logistics activities. 

Founded in 1955 and headquartered in Kirchheim unter Teck (Germany), the MOSOLF Group has grown into a key player in European automotive logistics. The company offers a comprehensive range of services, including vehicle handling and storage, transport, technical processing, and port-based logistics solutions. MOSOLF already operates at several strategically located ports across Europe, where it provides roll-on roll-off (RoRo) services, breakbulk handling, and a wide range of value-added logistics activities.

Port Oostende, with its strong focus on blue economy, offshore energy and specialised logistics, sees the arrival of MOSOLF as a natural and complementary partnership. The port’s accessible location on the North Sea, combined with its hinterland connections, provides MOSOLF with an ideal platform for both import and export flows of vehicles and high and heavy cargo.
