Eric Noterman appointed as new CEO of Port Oostende

The Board of Directors of Port Oostende has appointed Eric Noterman as the new CEO. With his 30 years of experience in logistics and port operations, as well as in professionalizing organizations, the Board is confident that he will further steer and develop the activities of Port Oostende and its team.
Eric Noterman was appointed as interim CEO in the autumn of 2025. Over the past months, he has drawn up a strategic plan which he will now be able to further develop and implement himself.

About Eric Noterman

Eric Noterman is 59 years old and comes from Reet. He began his career on the Lange Vaart and soon transitioned to the maritime sector. He has worked at various levels within companies such as Katoen Natie, DP World, and Van Moer Group, and is highly familiar with the operations of Belgian ports.
Since 2006, he has held CEO positions in several maritime and logistics companies, where he is known for his people-oriented as well as results-driven approach. In the autumn of 2025, he was appointed interim CEO of Port Oostende.
